Ballots - This page provides information and Coalition recommendations on upcoming and recent ballot issues and candidates
Baptist Road - Current plans call for Baptist Road to be a major arterial. Members of the Coalition are reviewing these plans as part of our Baptist Road Oversight Project.
Concrete Plants - The Coalition arose from opposition to the proposals to build two concrete batch plants on North Washington St. near Highway 105, not far from Safeway. The Transit Mix proposal was denied by the Monument Board of Trustees. The Trans-Colorado Concrete proposal was put on hold. Transit Mix proposed to build a batch plant in Palmer Lake. After denial of that project was unanimously recommended by the Palmer Lake Planning Commission, Transit Mix withdrew the proposal.
Forest Lakes - This proposed development is south of Pine Hills off Baptist Road west of I-25 and the railroad tracks. It proposes about 896 dwelling units on 880 acres. Members of the Coalition and other neighborhood groups are reviewing this proposal and its potential impacts.
Hay Creek Ranch This proposed development is on the south side of Hay Creek Road, west of I-25 and the railroad tracks. It proposes 15 lots on about 50 acres. Members of the Coalition and other neighborhood groups are reviewing this project and its potential impacts. New
I-25 Corridor - Many changes are proposed for Interstate 25. Members of the Coalition are reviewing these plans as part of our I-25 Corridor Oversight Project.
Jackson Creek - The Regency Park/Jackson Creek project added over 1600 acres to the Town of Monument. Members of the Coalition are reviewing the detailed plans for this development as part of our Jackson Creek Oversight Project.
Knollwood Center - This is a proposal to build 53,900 sq. ft. of commercial space on the northeast corner of Knollwood and Highway 105. Members of the Coalition are reviewing this proposal and its potential impacts.
Misty Acres  - This proposed development is east of Monument Hill Road and South of County Line Road near Doewood Estates. It proposes a large number of dwelling units, perhaps 400 to 700 on about 125 acres. Members of the Coalition and other neighborhood groups are reviewing this proposal and its potential impacts.
Monument Archives - As a temporary service until the Town of Monument creates a web site, the Coalition has posted here unofficial documents and agendas and minutes of Town meetings.
Struthers Ranch  - This proposed development is due south of Chaparral Hills east of I-25. The sketch plan calls for 130 dwelling units. Members of the Coalition and other neighborhood groups are reviewing this proposal and its potential impacts.
Vision - As part of our Vision of the Future Project, members of the Coalition are working with many others in the community to develop and implement a plan for the evolution of the Tri-Lakes area.
Wal-Mart - Because of the many anticipated negative impacts, most members of the Coalition strongly oppose the proposal to build a Supercenter Wal-Mart on Baptist Rd. Our Wal-Mart Committee is gathering and disseminating information about this proposal.
Wolf Business Park - This is a proposal to build a commercial complex involving a restaurant, office building, office/warehouse, and a 60 room motel on the east side of Beacon Lite Road near the mobile home park.
