To the people of Town of Monument:
It is with great regret that I am resigning from my position on the Board of Trustee’s. I have reached a cap in the current full time position and there are no qualified companies in the region that I can start new with.
My wife and I will be moving to California, were I have taken a new job. This is a great opportunity for me, but I am sad to leave this town.
I will not be at the meeting on May 21, 2001 for we will be in California looking for a new place to live. It appears that I will not be able to announce my leaving in person at a public meeting because I start my new job June 4. I apologize for that.
This is a great little town with fine people and I hope that it continues that way. It is my hope, in the mist of controversy, that the people of Monument see beyond the vindictive cries of people who have been against this administration from day one and make judgments on first hand knowledge that they gather for themselves and not second hand knowledge from others. I truly love this town and hope only the best for it and the people who live here.
Sincerely,
Nicholas R. Leibovitz
