• We are a community of concerned citizens

• We are a community that wants to set our own goals and determine our own density, without interference from outsiders.

• We are in danger of having our future determined by others.

• We want to establish our Tri-Lakes identity.

• We are the Gateway to El Paso County

• We are part of a major transportation route

• We are becoming a bedroom community for Colorado Springs, Denver and Castle Rock.

• Development around Monument Lake into a park

• A community that is supportive of the arts

• Enough businesses to support services

• Jobs with high enough wages and salaries so we can work and live here

• Retaining a sense of community

• Consistency in zoning

• A fair balance between the rights of land owners and community members

• Adequate planning for what we value

• A balanced approach to growth

• Not all types of development must be accommodated, i.e. heavy industrial

• Attract compatible industries that enhance our community vision

• More recreation and tourism

• Create jobs without disrupting the environment

Public Services

• Public transportation

• Senior services

• High quality water

• Provision of adequate water, sewer, fire protection, police, ambulatory and power
