Download the 1984 Version - The 1984 Comprehensive Plan is stored here in four compressed segments (21 megabytes total) due to the size of the scanned figures and maps. If you don't have a decompression program then you need to download and install FreeZip to decompress the zip files into the text file with drawings (1984text.doc) and the three map files (1984map1.ppt, 1984map3.ppt, and 1984map4.ppt). You will need to have a color printer if you wish to print maps 1, 3 and 4.
Download the text with embedded black and white drawings (compressed Microsoft Word file 1984text.zip - 1.53 megabytes, about 9 minutes at 28.8)
Download Map 1: Environmental Constraints Composite (color, compressed Microsoft Powerpoint file 1984map1.zip -  6.65 megabytes, about 39 minutes at 28.8)
Download Map 3: Land Use Concept (color, compressed Microsoft Powerpoint file 1984map3.zip - 6.71 megabytes, about 39 minutes at 28.8)
Download Map 4: Downtown Revitalization Concept (color, compressed Microsoft Powerpoint file 1984map4.zip - 6.40 megabytes, about 37 minutes at 28.8)
If you have difficulty with the compressed files or don't want to install a decompression program, here are links to download the uncompressed files. They take somewhat longer to download (34 megabytes total):
Download the text with embedded black and white drawings (Microsoft Word file 1984text.doc - 7.29 megabytes, about 42 minutes at 28.8)
Download Map 1: Environmental Constraints Composite (color, Microsoft Powerpoint file 1984map1.ppt - 8.41 megabytes, about 48 minutes at 28.8)
Download Map 3: Land Use Concept (color, Microsoft Powerpoint file 1984map3.ppt - 9.21 megabytes, about 53 minutes at 28.8)
Download Map 4: Downtown Revitalization Concept (color, Microsoft Powerpoint file 1984map4.ppt - 9.08 megabytes, about 53 minutes at 28.8)
Once you have the Microsoft Word file and the three Powerpoint files stored on your disk, if you don't have Microsoft Word and Powerpoint installed on your computer then you need to download and install the free Word and Powerpoint viewers so you can view and print the files.
