MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY JANUARY 8, 2000
6:00 P.M. Board of Trustees Special Meeting
Mayor Tenney called this Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Monument, Colorado to order at 6:00 P.M. at the Town Hall. The following Board members were present for the meeting:

Call to Order:
Mayor Tenney called the meeting to order.
Selection of Date to Meet with Sheriff John Anderson
Mayor Tenney asked the Board to review the list of dates offered by Sheriff Anderson. There was unanimous consensus to select January 16 at 6:00 p.m., the next regular Board meeting. The topics to be discussed were 1) Out-of-Town area the Police Department responds to assist calls, 2) Level of expectation, and 3) Cross-Deputization. Mr. Sonnenburg was instructed to invite the Police Advisory Committee to the meeting with Sheriff Anderson.
Selection of Date for Joint Meeting with Planning Commission
Mayor Tenney asked the Board to look at their calendars for possible dates for a joint meeting with the Planning Commission. After a brief discussion, Mayor Tenney suggested Monday, February 12, 2001. There was unanimous consensus to propose February 12 to the Planning Commission.
Executive Session
There was a motion by Trustee Wilcox, seconded by Trustee Schutz, to move into Executive Session to discuss personnel issues and receive legal advice from the Town Attorney. The motion passed unanimously at 6:15 p.m.
At 8:50 p.m. the Board came out of Executive Session.
Adjournment
There was a motion by Trustee Morgan, seconded by Trustee Wilcox, to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously at 8:50 p.m.
