MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY. AUGUST 15. 2000

6:30 P.M. Board of Trustees Special Meeting

Mayor Tenney called this Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Monument, Colorado to order at 6:30 P.M. at the Town Hall. At the call of the roll, the following Board members were present:

TOWN COUNCIL:

1. Mayor Tenney
2. Trustee Morgan
3. Trustee Schutz
4. Trustee Smith
5. Trustee Wilcox

Absent from meeting: Trustee Delaney, Trustee Leibovitz

TOWN STAFF:

1. Rick Sonnenburg, Town Manager
2. Gary Shupp, Town Attomey
3. Michael Shoback, Treasurer & Clerk

Also present: Tom Fellows (Consulting Appraiser)

Trustee Schutz moved that the following two individuals be appointed to the Public Works Committee effective immediately; and that the following two individuals be appointed as alternates immediately. The motion was seconded by Trustee Morgan and the motion passed unanimously (5-0):

Public Works Committee Appointments:

1. Faye Elbaum
2. Larry Neddon

Alternate Appointments:

1. Jim Sykes
2. Lowell Morgan

Executive Session:

At 6:45 pm Mayor Tenney moved that the Board of Trustees adjourn to executive Session to discuss legal and personnel matters with the Town Attorney and with Torn Fellows. The motion was seconded by Trustee Schutz and the motion passed unanimously (5—0).

Trustee Schutz departed before the end of the Executive Session. At 10:04 pm the Board came out of Executive Session.

Adjounment

At 10:05 pm Trustee Morgan moved that the meeting be adjourned. Trustee Smith seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously (4—0).

The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 pm.
