NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
AND JOINT MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
TOWN OF MONUMENT

 

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 2-2-2b. of the Monument Municipal Code, that on Monday, February 12, 2001 at 6:00 P.M. a Special Meeting of the Town of Monument Board of Trustees will be held and at 6:30 P.M. a Special joint meeting of the Board of Trustees and the Planning Commission will be held at the Monument Town Hall, 166 Second Street, Monument, CO 80132.

 

Said meetings are being called for the following purposes:

A. 6:00 P.M. Board of Trustees

1. Approval of the minutes of February 5, 2001

2. Public Hearing Regarding Amending the zoning and subdivision Ordinances to change the point of vesting for development applications from the preliminary Plat I Plan stage to the final Plat / Plan stage.

3. Ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance to change the Point of Vesting of Development Applications from the Preliminary Plan stage to the Final Plan Stage.

4. Ordinance amending the Subdivision Ordinance to change the Point of Vesting of Development Application from the Preliminary Plat Stage to Final Plat Stage.

5. Resolution authorizing Transportation Enhancement Grant application.

6. Resolution authorizing Fishing is Fun Grant application.

7. Proposal from Transplan for traffic study.

8. Resolution setting establishing Salary Ranges for Town Treasurer and Town Clerk Positions.

9. Motion to establish job duties and qualifications for Town Treasurer and Town Clerk

10. Financial Security Agreement for completion of landscaping and paving at 1st Bank at Jackson Creek Crossing

 

B. 6:30 P.M. Joint Meeting with Planning Commission

1. Presentation by Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments

2. Discuss status of New Committee Process.

3. Discuss Draft Ordinance limiting development applications to a Twelve month deadline within the review process.

4. Discuss Public Hearing Notice Options.

5. Discuss level of Legal assistance to Planning Commission.

6. Discuss the meaning of "Planned" in the "Planned Developments".

7. Discuss list of urgent Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance Amendments

 

C. Executive Session

1. Resolution authorizing Town Attorney to file court papers for Property Acquisition via Eminent Domain.
